Article writing is an art. The writing style tends to vary depending on the type of article you are writing. However, irrespective of the topic or your target audience, all types of articles have some aspects in common. There are several article writing tips and all of them focus on the structure of an article because that is the most important aspect. The basic structure of an article consists of three parts:

- The introduction
- The body and
- The end

Introduction: Focus is on enticing your reader by letting them know, in brief, what the article is about.

Body: Should contain all the important information and content that your reader may be interested in.

End: Or conclusion can either be a summary of the entire article or just a punch line.

Apart from the structure, you need to also focus on clarity of subject, use of proper grammar and sentence formation, the flow of sentences throughout the article, and use of anecdotes, direct quotes, examples, facts and figures. These are very important as they will be the source of information for the reader and entice them to read on.

Finally, remember if the information in your article is not reader friendly or if the facts are incorrect, then you will never be able to hold the attention of your readers.
